Engine Refurbishment

This service is about as complete as you can get. We offer a full machining service which includes:

• Crankshaft Regrinding
• Head Skimming
• Aluminium Head Welding
• Valve Seat Cutting
• Valve Cutting
• Valve Guide Fitting (including hardened seat for unleaded conversion)

Benchsound also recondition engines and cylinder heads, both for customers own units and for our own stocks.

Gearbox Reconditioning

Benchsound also recondition and repair most makes of gearboxes.

All our work is carried out "in house" including repair or reconditioning of units from our garage complex.
